ON JULY 2 "LET CUBA LIVE" ATTEMPTED TO SEND A SHIPMENT OF MEDICAL AID  TO CUBA VIA MONTREAL. THE MAJORITY OF THIS SHIPMENT WAS SEIZED BY U.S. CUSTOMS AT THE COBURN GORE BORDER CROSSING.

   On Saturday, July 7 at 10:00 AM the Let Cuba Live members who participated in the Coburn Gore action and  their supporters will hold a press conference in front of the U.S. Customs House at 468 Commercial Street in Portland.
